My son is always trying to catch grasshopper in summer and he invited me to join him.
My son is the proud grasshopper catcher in this photograph, you wouldn’t beleieve how difficult it is to take a photograph of a grasshopper, spent most of the day cusing everytime my camera managed to zoom in the rudy grasshopper would jump off :).
I never really payed much attention to grasshoppers, thought they all looked the same until I spent a day Grasshopper catching with my son :)
Grasshoppers come in all shapes and sizes, some look really mean and furosious, but their not, I’m glad I taught my kids to have respect for Insects they have had many a happy summers day finding creepy crawlies
